Circular Business Forum during a state visit to Slovakia

This will take place during the state visit of King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima to Slovakia.
There are many business opportunities for the construction and waste management sectors in Slovakia. In order to achieve European goals, the industry will receive €1 billion in financing in the coming years (including via the Recovery Fund).
In Slovakia, more than 90% of residential buildings are privately owned; in the Netherlands this is 40%. The renovation rate of buildings is above the EU average. Slovakia is building a recycling infrastructure. The Slovak transition to a circular economy therefore offers many opportunities for Dutch entrepreneurs.
