July 26, 2023

Last month, during the Sustainability Event held by Global Sustainable Enterprise Systems (GSES) at the iconic Kauwgomballenfabriek in Amsterdam, Freek van Eijk, director of Holland Circular Hotspot and Kelly Ruigrok, founder of GSES, signed the renewed partnership agreement between both organizations. With the esteemed presence of Princess Laurentien van Oranje-Nassau and over 300 passionate attendees, the event truly showcased the power of collaboration.

Strengthening circular economy advocacy and global outreach

The collaboration supports the efforts of Dutch-international cooperation in the field of circular economy. Solutions for measuring, assessing, and certifying sustainability data while simultaneously creating new business opportunities, which GSES offers, are essential in transitioning to a circular economy and international collaboration.

To achieve global visibility, GSES has become the main partner of HCH. Special attention is directed towards the Middle East and Asia, for which GSES has appointed two regional coordinators to engage in the market actively. This presents an opportunity to deepen and intensify partnerships, particularly in the prioritized Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management countries, such as Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, Japan, and China.

Together, promoting the sustainable procurement manifesto spearheaded by GSES will be emphasized. Additionally, GSES will publish English-language white papers (and update existing country studies where possible) to disseminate its insights and expertise further.
