Just announced: Lagos, Nigeria, to host Circular Hotspot NXT 2027
October 12, 2026
The Circular Hotspot journey is coming full circle.
We are delighted to announce that Lagos, Nigeria, has been selected to host Circular Hotspot NXT 2027, following its successful bid announced at the recently concluded Asia Pacific Circular Hotspot in Sydney, Australia, and reaffirmed at the Budapest Circular Hotspot in Hungary.
For Lagos, this is more than a return.
In 2023, Lagos hosted the first Circular Hotspot on the African continent, bringing together government, business, innovators, investors and other stakeholders to explore what a more circular and resourceful economy could look like for the city and beyond.
Now, Lagos Circular Hotspot NXT 2027 will build on that foundation, taking the conversation from momentum to deeper collaboration, investment and implementation.
