Seminar Circular Textiles: The Next Steponline | 14th of April 2021
What are the next steps for the textiles system?
The textiles system has traditionally operated linearly. Non-renewable resources used to produce textiles are short-lived. As a result, it causes a huge environmental impact. Moving forward to a more circular textile economy is the next goal for ending up waste and incentivizing the highest value chain.
This seminar gathers the InSysHub and LDE Centre for Sustainability, together with SaXcell, Zeeman, and Cirkelwaarde. They will be discussing how the textiles system can shift towards a new economy based on circular principles while diving into new potential opportunities and approaches.
