Webinar – “Reimagining Bangladesh’s Textile Industry: Exploring Circular Economy Opportunities in the RMG Sector”

Zoom | 29th until 29th of January 2024

Bangladesh is a key manufacturing hub for global apparel and textile production, and the industry plays a significant role in the country’s socio-economic development. However, considering the negative environmental impact that the RMG sector has on the climate, Bangladesh is committed to shifting its linear economy to a circular one. Holland Circular Hotspot, together with the Netherlands Enterprise Agency, and the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Bangladesh, will present new opportunities for activating the circular economy in Bangladesh.

The webinar “Reimagining Bangladesh’s Textile Industry” will take place on January 29, 2024 from 10.00 to 11.15 CET | 15.00 to 16.15 BST. This interactive session promises to offer inspiring best practices from both the Netherlands and Bangladesh, and practical insights on opportunities to invest in Circular projects in Bangladesh.

If you are a circular entrepreneur, innovator or government official with innovative solutions for enhancing circularity and are interested in international collaboration in Bangladesh’s RMG sector, this event is for you!
