Between December 2020 and January 2021 a virtual international trade mission between the Netherlands and Chile takes place. Part one, a webinar series on circular business opportunities in Chile, was a great success in the first steps towards increased collaboration in the field of circular economy.

Business opportunities in agro-food, water management, and plastics & sustainable packaging
This webinar series, organized together with the Netherlands Embassy in Chile, showed how the Netherlands and Chile can mutually benefit from collaboration in the field of circular economy within the sectors agriculture, water management and, plastics and sustainable packaging.
We saw Chile is working hard towards reaching a circular economy and has set serious ambitions regarding all three sectors. Examples of circular economy in practice in both the Netherlands and Chile were shared. We learned that circular economy starts with design. Ánd we got reminded that the time is now, and we should not wait for the perfect moment to get started.
