Holland Circular Hotspot forms partnership with Milgro to promote internationalization CE

March 16, 2022

With the ambition from the Dutch government to accelerate internationalization in every aspect, especially in the circular economy transition, Holland Circular Hotspot signed an agreement with Milgro, a circular company that offers technologies and services in (sustainable) waste and raw material management. The aim of this new partnership is to develop international activities to intensify the circular approach for the themes of Cities & Regions and Agri-food.

For Holland Circular Hotspot, the agreement means a reinforcement of the network with Dutch circular pioneers. Milgro will take this offer as a tool to develop impactful solutions which make it possible to utilize the potential of natural capital. Furthermore, the optimization in raw materials management will lead to a reduction in global waste production. This can be huge and important for both organizations in the initiatives to overcome the global issues in circularity.

About Milgro

Milgro, which has been active for 28 years, is the connector between ‘disposers’ and ‘recipients’ of used raw materials. For 3 years, they have developed from knowledge organization to technology supplier for the circular economy. The focus is on a self-developed digital control system that organizes the waste process on the basis of unique orders. This provides the insight with which the process is optimized and ultimately the step is taken towards closing chains and creating raw material cycles. Business activities focus on data-driven waste and raw materials management. To this end, Milgro offers services for internal waste logistics, digitization, the transition of raw materials use, and raw material management.
