How circular economy practices help to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals

May 20, 2020

The 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) represent the blueprint to achieving a better and more sustainable future for all by 2030. The SDGs are a call to action by all countries – poor, rich and middle-income to promote prosperity while protecting the environment.

In parallel, the notion of a Circular Economy (CE) as an alternative economic framework has been gaining significant momentum worldwide. This growing CE interest is reflected in numerous actors across the globe as a framework for organising and pursuing sustainability initiatives.

Holland Circular Hotspot and the Netherlands Enterprise Agency have come together to share insights, networks and resources to help you kickstart circular developments that will boost the SDGs in your region.

The brochure Circular Economy & SDGs identifies the extent to which circular economy practices are relevant for the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals.
