Mechanical Engineering in a Circular Economy

Mechanical engineering is important for the circular economy in three ways: machines manufacture products, are needed for recycling processes, and at the same time must themselves be recyclable. The virtual circular economy tour of the Green Economy Network NRW has set out to find best-practice examples of small and medium-sized companies that operate mechanical engineering in a circular economy-oriented manner.

Diana de Graaf from Holland Circular Hotspot, in her keynote, will explain how crucial mechanical engineering is for a circular economy.
