Circular Economy Hotspot 2022 in Bottrop

Bottrop, Germany | 12th until 14th of September 2022

In September 2022, the annual summit as a hotspot will come to North Rhine-Westphalia. It will be organized by the city of Bottrop together with the research project Prosperkolleg and supported by the German Ministry of Economics.

The event is an opportunity to present circular strategies, know best practice examples, and exchange ideas for long-term relationships in the German region.

The topics of circular economy, conservation of resources, and efficiency enhancement will be highlighted and presented to the audience in the form of practical examples, workshops, and panel discussions.

Official Side-Event on September 15

This cross-border event will focus on Chemical Recycling, a trending topic that is likely to play a crucial role in making the Chemical Industry Circular and Climate neutral. It will focus on the latest developments and innovations and how cross-border collaboration can foster growth toward a circular plastic sector. This event is a follow-up of the online NL-NRW event held on October 8, 2020 on Chemical Recycling. The session will take place against the backdrop of the CE Hotspot NRW 2022
