Collaborative and circular food systems to reduce pollution and improve health

online | 27th of May 2021

As part of the #EUGreenWeek, the Association of Cities and Regions presents this side event. Addressing food waste and the agri-food value of chains can significantly reduce pollution of the environment. Additionally, collaborative work in the circular food systems can increase the resilience of local economies and communities.

This event will present the innovative approaches of 5 European projects working in synergies (FOODRUS, CO-FRESH, FAIRCHAIN, LOWINFOOD, PLOUTOS), and an expert panel will address issues related to the sustainability of food systems at the local and regional level.
