Join Us for EU Green Week & ECESP Annual Conference 2025
Brussels | 3rd until 5th of June 2025As a member of the Coordination Group of the European Circular Economy Stakeholder Platform, Holland Circular Hotspot is very proud to announce that the 2025 ECESP Annual Conference will take place in conjunction with EU Green Week and the European Circular Cities and Regions Initiative conference.
About the Conference
With competitiveness at the heart of the EU’s agenda, this year’s Green Week will explore the “three Cs” — Clean, Competitive, and Circular — and how circularity can drive sustainable growth, reduce waste, and promote innovation. The event will provide a unique opportunity to share insights, build alliances, and discuss how circular solutions can address some of Europe’s most pressing challenges.
On 3-4 June, the conference will host high-level policy debates, diving into the circular economy’s role in shaping Europe’s future. On 5 June, stakeholders will come together for in-depth discussions focused on unlocking the full potential of circularity for a more competitive and resource-efficient Europe.
Leading up to the main event, a special ECESP warm-up session will be held on 10 April at the European Economic and Social Committee. This gathering will bring together circular economy stakeholders to help shape the conversations that will unfold during Green Week. Throughout June, Green Week partner events will extend the discussion to local and regional levels, engaging businesses, communities, and individuals across Europe and beyond. Applications to host partner events will be open between 3-21 March 2025, with guidelines on citizen engagement available in early February.
The Green Week
For 25 years, EU Green Week, organized by the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Environment, has been a cornerstone event for environmental policy discussions. It brings together policymakers, businesses, environmental advocates, and other key players from across Europe and the world. The European Circular Economy Stakeholder Platform and the Circular Cities and Regions Initiative are proud partners in this year’s edition, continuing their work to promote circularity across Europe.
