Holland Circular Hotspot partners with Global Sustainable Enterprise System
May 31, 2022
Holland Circular Hotspot and Global Sustainable Enterprise System (GSES System) signed a cooperation agreement on May 19th in the presence of Minister Liesje Schreinemacher during the mission ‘Sustainable Infrastructure & Circular Construction’ in Antwerp, Belgium.
The strategic partnership will further develop and intensify the circular approach using transparency metrics (Data for Good) and certification for CE (GESES System) within a wide range of sectors such as construction, financial services and manufacturing.
Main goals of the partnership
The primary objective is to grow the ‘coalition of the willing’ and to promote the Dutch approach and solutions in the field of the circular economy internationally, with a focus on measuring circularity and sustainability.
GSES will, for instance, be visible in the thematic brochure ‘Circular Buildings: constructing a sustainable future’. This brochure elaborates on the urgency for the buildings sector to become circular and the current momentum and opportunities to kickstart international collaboration on this transition. Best practices in The Netherlands are highlighted to show circular solutions of Dutch companies that could work in international contexts as well. Measuring circularity and international standards are essential in the transition towards a future where circular buildings are the norm.
About the Global Sustainable Enterprise System
The Global Sustainable Enterprise System (GSES System) has been building and maintaining a digital platform for sustainability and (chain) transparency since 2019. The GSES System is the world’s most used and trusted sustainability rating platform that measures companies and organizations on sustainable and circular entrepreneurship. Using more than 550 different eco-labels, certificates and frameworks (incl. PEF, EPD, and LCA) into 1 ESG reporting system, the platform offers opportunities to compare presentations objectively. In addition, the GSES System helps organizations assess, verify and certify sustainability performance at the process, supply chain, and product level.
The GSE platform helps organizations assess, verify and certify sustainability performance at the process, supply chain and product levels. Using more than 500 different eco-labels, the platform offers opportunities to compare presentations objectively. In addition, it can create valuable sustainability ratings for organizations in almost all sectors. After a successful market introduction in the Netherlands at both public organizations and Dutch multinationals, the international roll-out is now being used to act as a worldwide standard.
