Sharing lessons learnt on governance

January 07, 2021

Jacqueline Cramer is now inviting other circular hotspots for an interview to discuss their experiences of circular economy governance. She plans to hold individual Zoom meetings in January and February 2021 with hubs interested in sharing their experiences. If you are interested in joining the conversation, you can contact her via email.

Prof. Jacqueline Cramer, Chair of Holland Circular Hotspot’s supervisory board, recently launched a new e-book on How Network Governance Powers the Circular Economy – Ten Guiding Principles for a Circular Economy. In this book, she shows how network governance can power the circular economy. Network governance consists of building a coalition of partners, which all fulfill a specific function in the network. By complementing conventional public governance with this new form of governance, it is possible to have the best of both worlds, strengthening the positive forces in society and giving a voice to those who sometimes feel that government is not listening to them.
