Circular Urban Development

online | 13th of April 2021

The Dutch Minister for the Environment will launch a circular economy mission with California, Arizona. Fifteen Dutch companies will present smart and creative solutions around circular urban development. The mission will embark on topics ranging from recycling construction materials to wastewater treatment. For instance, 100% sustainable neighborhoods and 3D-printed floors.

The mission runs parallelly to the WCEF+Climate conference, which makes part of the high ambitions of The Netherlands and the United States to develop a more circular future for cities. Similarly, it seeks to connect dutch companies to potential partners on the West Coast of the United States.

The fact-finding mission will be launched with a virtual talk show, with speakers Stientje van Veldhoven, Eleni Kounalakis, Kate Gallego, and James Ehrlich of Stanford University.

The talk show will be broadcasted on Twitter.
