SAVE THE DATE!: Unlocking Circular Opportunities in Critical Raw Materials (CRMs)
Online | 18th until 18th of June 2026The transition to a clean economy is accelerating, and the partnership between South Africa and the Netherlands is at the forefront of this shift. In the current geopolitical landscape, resource resilience for Europe is increasingly on top of The Netherlands and Europe’s agenda. Europe has a strong dependency on CRMs and is evaluating mining in Europe, keeping Europe’s CRMs in the loop as long as possible and stockpiling. In particular, the EU sourcing from new partners and building new CRM trade relations is a key part of that strategy. Until now, the Netherlands and South Africa have had longstanding and warm relations.
Join this webinar hosted by Holland Circular Hotspot & Circular South Africa in collaboration with RVO (Netherlands Enterprise Agency) and the Embassy of the Netherlands in South Africa, to explore the key findings of the Circularity in CRM Opportunity Scoping Study: concrete collaboration opportunities for business and policy in circular solutions with CRM and secondary resource extraction for mining activities in South Africa.
Why Join?
